This scheme is being run by the Office of the Commissioner, Cottage and Village Industries, Gandhinagar. Vajpayee Bankable Yojana is a Loan Yojana . Under this scheme, loans are given to provide self-employment. Loan Subsidy is also given on this loan. To take advantage of Vajpayee Bankable Loan Yojana, an online application has to be made. For which a new portal has been launched by the Finance Department .

Purpose of Vajpayee Bankable Scheme
It is very important that educated youth and disabled people of rural and urban areas of Gujarat state get self-employment opportunities. The important objective of Shri Bajpayee Bankable Yojana is to encourage cottage industries. Vajpayee Bankable Yojana has been implemented with the aim of providing loans at very low rates to citizens to start their own independent businesses and become self-reliant. Under the VBY scheme, beneficiaries will get loans in the industry, service and trade sectors. And subsidy is also available on this.
Eligibility Criteria for Vajpayee Bankable Scheme
This scheme is run by the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries . Some eligibility criteria for those who are assisted in the Shri Bajpai Bankable Scheme have been determined. Which are given below.
- Must be a citizen of the state of Gujarat.
- The beneficiary should have obtained at least an educational qualification up to standard 4 .
- The age of the applicant beneficiary should be between 18 and 65 years .
- The beneficiary should have received at least 3 months of training from a private institution relevant to the business or profession for which the loan is to be taken.
- Even if the beneficiary has undergone 1 month of training from a government recognized institution, he/she will be eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.
- Even if the applicant has 1 year of business experience, it will be considered valid.
- Even if the beneficiary himself is a hereditary artisan, the benefits of the scheme will be available.
- Disabled or blind citizens will also be able to benefit from this scheme.
- Under this scheme, the applicant will be able to get a loan from Vajpayee Bankable Yojana bank list such as nationalized banks, cooperative banks, public sector banks, private banks.
- Vajpayee bankable yojana Gujarat benefit will be available to a person only once.
- Active self-help groups that have been graded will be eligible for the benefits of the Vajpayee Bankable Loan Yojana.
- Applicants who have received the benefits of such a scheme through this department or any other department will not be eligible for the benefits of this scheme.

As the eligibility of the beneficiaries has been decided for taking VBY Yojana , the documents have been decided in the same manner. Which are given as follows.
- School Leaving Certificate (LC)
- Passport size photo
- Election card
- Beneficiary’s Aadhaar Card ( Download Aadhaar Card )
- Birth registration certificate
- Marksheet of educational qualification (last marksheet)
- Certificate from the competent authority regarding caste (for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes)
- Certificate from Civil Surgeon/Competent Officer regarding the percentage of disability in case of beneficiaries with 40% or more disability.
- Certificate of training/experience obtained by the applicant.
- Attach the original price list with VAT/TIN number of the equipment to be purchased.
- Proof of the place of business decided upon. (Rent agreement / Rent slip / House tax receipt)
- If electricity is to be used, the house’s electric bill and the landlord’s consent letter

The Finance Department of the Government of Gujarat has launched a new online portal for Bankable Loan Registration. Through this Bankable Scheme Portal, online applications for various schemes can be made. Through this article, we will get step-by-step information on how to do Vajpayee Bankable Yojana Online Registration.
- First, you will have to type Bankable Scheme Portal in Google Search .
- Where you will find the official website of the Finance Department in Google Search Results.
- From which you will have to open https://blp.gujarat.gov.in/ .
- After opening the official website, you will have to click on “ Bankable Loan Registration” .
- If you have not registered online on this portal before, click on “REGISTER”.
- By clicking on Register, you will now have to enter your Mobile Number and Captcha Code to proceed further.
- After that, the beneficiary will have to complete the registration process by entering the Name, Email Id, Password and Captcha Code.
