Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been implemented for the farmers of the country. Through this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the economically weaker farmers. This scheme is given to the small and marginal farmers, so that the farmer brothers can buy good quality seeds and assurance. Under this scheme, assistance has been paid up to the 18th installment of PM Kisan Yojana . Preparations for the payment of the next 18th installment of PM Kisan Sanmaan nidhi installment are also being started.

The Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched by the Government of India on 1 February 2019. The economically weaker farmers of the country will be eligible for the benefit. You will have to apply with the prescribed documents to avail the benefit of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. Under this scheme, the amount of honor to the farmers is deposited directly in their bank or post account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) .
PM Kisan Yojana Eligibility
The Government of India has determined the eligibility for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 2025. To avail the benefits of the scheme, farmers should have the following eligibility.- PM Kisan is a scheme of the Central Government. The funding in this scheme is 100% from the Central Government.
- It is given to small and marginal farming families under PM Kisan Yojana .
- Small and marginal farmer families who jointly own or own land of less than 2 hectares get the benefit of this scheme.
Definition of farmer’s family in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana
The Government of India has defined a family as consisting of husband, wife and minor children (below 18 years of age) who are individually or jointly holding cultivable land. Who collectively, as per the land records of the concerned State or Union Territory, owns up to 2 hectares of cultivable land.
Standard of assistance in PM Kisan Yojana
In Pradhan mantri kisan samman nidhi yojana Gujarat, the beneficiary farmer family is paid Rs.6000/- every year. This assistance is paid through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) . Which is paid in three equal installments every four (4) months. Under PM Kisan Yojana , the first installment was paid from 01/12/2018 to 31/03/2019 . So far, PM Kisan has been paid up to 13th Installment .

Who is not eligible to receive the benefits of the scheme ?
The benefit of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is available to small and marginal farmers. The Government of India has fixed the eligibility for this scheme. The details of which citizens will not get the benefit of this scheme are as follows.
- Current and former holders of all types of constitutional positions will not be met.
- Current or past Ministers/Ministers of State, Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha or Legislative Assembly or District Panchayat Chairpersons will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- All officers and employees serving or retired in various departments, offices, ministries or their field offices of the Central and State Governments will not get the benefit of PMKSY . (Except Multi-Tasking Staff/Class-4 and Group-D)
- All old age pensioners who are getting pension of Rs. 10,000/- or more per month (except Multi Tasking Staff/Class-4 and Group-D) will not get the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana.
- Taxpayers who have paid income tax in the last assessment year as well as professionals such as doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants and architects who have a profession registered with professional bodies will not get it.
How to Apply Online for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in Gujarat
New farmer account holders will have to fill an online form to avail the benefits of this scheme. New Farmer Registration – For PM Kisan, an online application can be made from VCE to the Gram Panchayat.
- First go to your Gram Panchayat.
- Provide all documents to VCE while working there.
- VCE from Gram Panchayat will provide online application for this scheme to new farmers through https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in/.
- You will be given a receipt after applying online.
- Finally, you must retain the receipt of this application number.

After applying online under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the beneficiary farmer can check his/her PM Kisan Beneficiary Status himself/herself. The following steps will have to be followed to check the status of his/her application.
- First of all, you have to open the website https://pmkisan.gov.in/ .
- Then click on Beneficiary Status.
- After the new page opens, you can search using Aadhaar card number, account number, and mobile number.

Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the beneficiaries are paid 6000 every year. The Government of India pays Rs 2000 in installments every 4 months. There is no need to go to the office or bank to see whether this installment amount has been deposited in the account through DBT or not. Because this facility can be found from the PM-KISAN Official Website. The amount of your assistance can be seen by yourself through your mobile, computer or laptop. The process is given below.

- Then the above screen will open.
- In which you will have to enter the amount of assistance, Aadhaar card number, account number and mobile number.
- If the details of one of the three above are entered, then the assistance of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can be checked.

To avail the benefits of this scheme, the Central Government has prepared an application form in the prescribed format. In which an agreement has also been given. Which has to be signed by the beneficiary and this application form has to be submitted to the Gram Panchayat and Talati of the concerned area.
