Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi | PM Kisan scheme is also one of the many schemes by the government that require one’s Aadhaar card to be linked to the account to receive the money promptly. The Government of India launched a new Central Sector Scheme, “Pradhan Mantri KIsan SAmman Nidhi (PM-KISAN)” in order to augment the income of the Small and Marginal Farmers (SMFs). The scheme was launched in February 2019. It is being implemented by the Department of Agriculture, Co-operation & Farmers Welfare (DAC&FW) under the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare through the Department of Agriculture of all the States and Union Territories Governments. Under the Scheme, a direct payment of Rs. 6000 per year will be transferred in three equal installments of Rs. 2000 each every four months into the bank accounts of eligible landholding families.
Where and how to complain?
If Rs 2000 has not been deposited in your account, you should first contact your local Lekhpal (Accountant) and Agriculture Officer. If these people do not listen to you or even after that the money does not reach the account, then you can also call on the relevant helpline number. How to do KYC in PM Kisan Yojana
- To complete the KYC process in PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana you first click on its official portal pmkisan.gov.in.
- Here you click on the home page of this portal.
- Here a tab will open in front of you in which you will be asked for Aadhaar information.
- Enter the Aadhaar number here.
- After this you press Search. Here the option to enter your Aadhaar link mobile number will open.
- After entering the number. A 4 digit OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number.
- After that a 6 digit OTP will be sent to your mobile number again for Aadhaar authentication.
- Enter this OTP.
- After that press submit button.
- After doing eKYC correctly you will get a message that e-KYC is done correctly. On the other hand, if the KYC process has already been completed, the message eKYC is already done will appear.
- If the message of Invalid is coming then in such a case any information of your Aadhaar is wrong.
- First get it corrected at Aadhaar Kendra and then complete the e-KYC process by going through the whole process again.
- After doing e-KYC, the installment of Rs 2000 will be easily transferred to your account.
PM- KISAN Scheme
- PM KISAN could be a Central Sector theme with 100% funding from Government of India
- It has become operational from 1.12.2018.
- Under the scheme an income support of Rs.6000/- per year in three equal instalments will be provided to small & marginal farmer families having combined land holding/ownership of upto 2 hectares
- Definition of family for the theme is husband, wife and minor children.
- State Government and UT Administration will identify the farmer families which are eble for support as per scheme guidelines.
- The fund are going to be directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries.
- The first instalment for the amount one.12.2018 to 31.03.2019 is to be provided in this financial year itself.
- There are various Exclusion Categories for the scheme.
On the official website, the scheme is described as, “Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PIV-KISAN) is a new Central Sector Scheme to provide income support to all landholding farmers’ families in the country to supplement their financial needs for procuring various inputs related to agriculture and allied activities as well as domestic needs. Under the Sch8eme, the entire financial liability towards the transfer of benefit to targeted beneficiaries will be borne by the Government of India.”
