PM Internship Scheme 2024: Government of India has released various scholarships to provide financial assistance to the youth. One of their schemes is called PM Internship scheme 2024. 10th pass is mandatory to avail this scheme. Through this scheme unemployed youth are taught different skills and are eligible

Eligibility, Benefits and Application Process
The central government has launched the PM Internship Yojana portal from today. This scheme
has been launched with the aim of providing professional experience to the youth, so that they
can do internships in government departments and develop practical skills. Interested
candidates can apply through this portal.
Objective of this scheme
The main objective of this scheme is to give practical experience to the students in their
educational life itself, so that when they complete their education, they are better prepared for
the job. This will not only increase their confidence but will also give them an understanding of
the working world. The Prime Minister’s Internship Portal has been designed to promote the
skills of the youth as well as make them employable.
Who can apply?
All students who have passed 10th standard can apply under this scheme. For this, they will
have to register themselves by visiting the Prime Minister’s Internship Portal. During the
internship, students will get an opportunity to work in various fields, such as technology,
management, government services, and others. This will give them an opportunity to choose a
field according to their interest and lay the foundation of their career in that direction.
PM Internship Portal Eligibility
Educational Qualification: The candidate must have passed the secondary examination i.e. 12th class.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be between 21 to 24 years.
Other Conditions: No member in the candidate’s family should be in a government job or
receiving any kind of government assistance. Also, the annual income of the candidate’s family
should not exceed Rs 2.5 lakh.
Candidates can apply through the online portal. The selection process will be done on the basis
of the educational qualification and other experiences of the candidate. The selected interns will
be given necessary training so that they can perform their tasks efficiently during the internship.
Financial Aid
Under this scheme, the interns will be provided an honorarium of Rs 5000 per month. Out of
this, Rs 4500 will be a monthly allowance, while Rs 500 will be given as travel allowance. This
financial assistance will help the interns to focus on their duties without any financial worries.
Selection Process
The selection process will be online, with various government ministries and departments
posting vacancies for their internships. The selection will be done based on the academic
qualifications and other parameters of the candidate.
Stipend and Duration
A stipend of Rs 5,000 will be given every month during the internship. This stipend will help the
students financially so that they can gain professional experience along with their studies. The
duration of the internship can usually be from 6 months to 1 year, during which the students will
work on enhancing their abilities and gaining practical knowledge.

Upload the required documents, such as identity card, 10th mark sheet etc.
