What is Gujarat Manav Kalyan Yojana?
The Gujarat State Government has launched the Gujarat Manav Kalyan Yojana to help the citizens of Gujarat who work as artisans, workers, small vendors, etc. With the help of this scheme, the Gujarat State Government will increase the annual income of the citizens of Gujarat who are economically unstable. The aim of this scheme is to provide more economic options for self-employment to artisans, workers and small company owners who are struggling with the economy. Artisans, workers, small vendors, etc. from backward castes who earn up to Rs 12,000 in rural areas and up to Rs 15,000 in urban areas are eligible for the Gujarat Manav Kalyan Yojana.
Eligibility
- People who follow all these eligibility criteria can take advantage of this scheme.
- The applicant’s age must be between 16 and 60 years.
- For beneficiaries from rural areas, they should have been included in the list of poor people from the District Rural Development Department. These beneficiaries do not need to submit proof of income.
- If the applicant is in a rural area then their income should be less than ₹1,20,000 and if the employment is in an urban area then their income should be less than ₹1,50,000.

How to apply online for Manav Kalyan Yojana 2025?
- To avail the benefits of the Manav Kalyan Yojana, an online application has to be made on the Kutir portal, the process of which is given below.
- In which the official website of the Commissioner of Cottage and Rural Industries will open
- After opening the official website of the Commissioner’s Cottage, the menu will show the 12th e-Cottage, on which you will have to click.
- Clicking on e-Kutir will open the official website of Manav Kalyan Yojana.
- Then, if you have registered earlier, you will have to click on Login to Portal where you created the user ID and password.
- If you have not registered or logged in before, you will need to follow these steps:
- You will have to click on the ” for new individual registration click here” link provided on the e-Kutir portal.
- Now you will have to fill in the registration details as a new individual citizen.
- After that, you will have to enter your name, Aadhaar card, date of birth, mobile number, password and captcha code and click on the register button.
- After clicking, a new page will open in which you will have to click on confirm whether you really want to register.
- After registration successfully you will get a user ID for login is a 2200** number which you have to keep in a safe place.
- Now on the login to portal page, enter the user ID, password and captcha code and click on the login button.
- The profile page will appear, in which the remaining information will have to be updated again.
- Then after updating, you will have to click on the save button.
- Now your profile page will show different options in which you have to click on Manav Kalyan Yojana.
- After clicking on Manav Kalyan Yojana Online, its information will open, after reading which you will have to click on the OK button.
- The online form of the scheme will open in which you have to fill in your personal information and click on the Save and Next button.
- The details are that the name of the tool, educational qualification, technical details, income details, business name, etc. will have to be filled in and click on Save and Next.
- The applicant will now have to upload a copy of Aadhaar card, copy of ration card, BPL documents and business experience etc.
- After that, you have to read the given terms and conditions and click on the confirm application option.
- The application number received from online applications must be recorded and kept in a safe place.
