Income certificate is an important document which shows the annual income of a person. This certificate can be obtained online through the Government of Gujarat through the Digital Gujarat Portal .
Documents required for income certificate
The following documents are required to obtain an income certificate in your name:
- Aadhar card
- Ration card (if available)
- Residence certificate
- Remove land 7/12 and 8-A (if desired)
- PAN card (if available)
- Electric bill or gas bill (for address)
Steps to get income certificate online
Step 1: Open the Digital Gujarat Portal
- Go to https://www.digitalgujarat.gov.in/.
Step 2: Login or create a new account
- If you don’t have an account, click on “New Registration” .
- Enter your mobile number and email .
- Verify account via OTP.
Step 3: Click on the “Request a New Service” option.
- Select “Income Certificate” from the service list .
Step 4: Fill in the form for income certificate
- Enter your full name, address, district, taluka, and income information .
- Upload the required documents .
Step 5: Pay the fee (₹20 to ₹50)
- Pay the fee through online payment (Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, UPI) .
Step 6: Submit the form and download the receipt
- After submitting, you will receive a message (Acknowledgement Receipt) .
- You can check the status of your application in “My Applications” .
Step 7: Download Income Certificate
- Your income certificate will be approved within 7-15 days.
- Can be downloaded in PDF format.

- Time: 7 to 15 days
- Fee: ₹20 – ₹50

- For Scholarship and Educational Reservation
