Ahmedabad: Many areas of Gujarat have received rain accompanied by wind and thunder. Farmers are once again facing disaster. The Meteorological Department has predicted five days of rain in Gujarat. Heavy rain and hail are predicted in many parts of Gujarat in the middle of summer. This morning, many areas of North Gujarat including Ahmedabad received rain accompanied by thunder and wind. While rural areas including Palanpur received rain accompanied by hail.
According to the weather department’s forecast, there has been a change in the weather in Ahmedabad city area. Rain has fallen in Science City, Sola, Bhadaj, Gota, Ghatlodia, Akhbarnagar, and Nirmalnagar areas of the city. There was a change in the weather in Ahmedabad city area since this morning itself.
Following the weather department’s forecast, heavy rains with strong winds have started in Banaskantha district since this morning. Rains with hail have fallen in rural areas of Palanpur including Palanpur. The weather department has predicted heavy winds with scattered rains in the district till May 8. Unseasonal rains are falling with heavy winds in many areas including Palanpur, Dantiwada, Deesa, Panthavada, Amirgarh, Deesa, Dhanera, Vadgam. In Palanpur, the unseasonal rains started with heavy winds and the electricity went out. There is a fear of damage to the summer crops of farmers due to the unseasonal rains.
On Tuesday, May 7, there are chances of scattered rains in most of Gujarat. In which there are also chances of heavy rains in some parts. In which there are chances of heavy rains with thunder in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Surat and Narmada. On Wednesday, May 8, there are chances of light to heavy rains with thunder and wind speed of 50-60 kmph. In which there are chances of heavy rains at scattered places in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Aravalli, Anand, Bharuch and Amreli and Bhavnagar.
