In the last 24 hours, many parts of Gujarat have received very heavy rainfall. Due to which the low lying areas have been flooded. There are flood like conditions in many places. Then the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall for the next 72 hours i.e. the next 3 days. These three days will be very difficult for the people of Gujarat. Along with this, holiday has been declared in many primary schools of the state.

Due to which heavy to very heavy rains can occur. In which the Meteorological Department has declared a red alert for heavy rains in entire Gujarat except Patan, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar. Red Alert: Heavy rains are expected in many parts of the state during the next 24 hours.

Red alert has also been issued in Kutch, Dwarka, Porbandar, Junagadh, Jamnagar, Morbi, Surendranagar, Rajkot. Let us tell you that on Monday, heavy rains lashed many parts of Gujarat on red alert, due to which low-lying areas were submerged in water and three people died and seven others went missing in rain-related incidents. Hundreds of people have been evacuated to safer places.
Indian Meteorological Department
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of heavy to very heavy rains and extremely heavy rains at some places in many districts of the state till Thursday morning, after which the administration has geared up. In view of the red alert issued by the IMD, all collectors have been asked to cancel the leaves of their employees.
