However, this year it will arrive 4 days earlier, around June 10 or 11. Its impact will be seen in Gujarat around June 12 and not only that, it is likely to cover the entire state very quickly.
How will the rainfall be in Gujarat this year?
According to the Meteorological Department, most parts of India including Gujarat will see more than normal rainfall this year. The country is expected to receive 105 percent rainfall this year. This also bodes well for agriculture. However, the Meteorological Department has said to be prepared for heavy rains this year. Gujarat has already received about 1.25 inches of rain in the pre-monsoon period before the monsoon.

In some areas, there will be rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms.
