Gujarat for next 7 Days Weather Forecast: Meghraja has been raining heavily in Gujarat, causing waterlogging in many areas of Gujarat. Especially Surat district has received heavy rain. In this situation, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain for the next 7 days.

In the last 24 hours, Meghraja has lashed South Gujarat. Surat received 14 inches of rain in the last 24 hours. Due to this, the roads of Surat have been flooded in many places and vehicles including two-wheelers have been submerged in water, while on the other hand, Vapi, Bardoli, Vyara have also been flooded with 3 to 4 inches of rain.

Weather Department Forecast

Director of the Meteorological Department A.K. Das has forecast for the next 7 days that there will be light to moderate rain in Ahmedabad on the day of the Rath Yatra. Apart from this, a red alert of rain has been given in other states of Gujarat like Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari. Meanwhile, heavy to very heavy rain has been predicted in Valsad, Daman, Dahod, Mahisagar. An orange alert has been given in Sabarkantha, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Anand, Panchmahal, Chhota Udepur and Dang.

Meghmeher in Surat

Meghmeher continues for the second consecutive day in Surat district. It has been raining heavily in Bardoli of the district since early morning today. Due to heavy rain, water was filled near Ashapuri temple in Bardoli town. Due to heavy rains that have been falling since early morning, normal life has been affected. Rainwater was filled in houses and shops in Deepnagar area. Due to the water filling, the condition of the locals was miserable. The road from Samariya Mora to Shastri road was blocked due to water filling. Bardoli had received five and a half inches of rain till last night. After which, four and a half inches of rain fell in just 2 hours today. Thus, more than 9 inches of rain have fallen in Bardoli in two days. So, two and a half inches of rain have fallen in two hours in Mahuva taluka of Surat.

What did Ambalal say?

According to Ambalal’s forecast, heavy to very heavy rains are predicted in the state from June 25, i.e. from tomorrow. Especially heavy rains are predicted in South Gujarat. Ambalal has shown the possibility of heavy rains in North, Central Gujarat, Saurashtra. Ambalal said that a system will form again in the Bay of Bengal from June 26.. and heavy rains are predicted on July 1, 2 and 3
