- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecasts heavy to very heavy rain in 7 districts of Gujarat.
- Areas likely to receive particularly intense rainfall include Dang, Navsari, Valsad, and the union territory of Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli
Tomorrow (15 June 2025)
- A continued heavy rain alert is in place for 4 districts: Navsari, Valsad, Dang, and Tapi, along with Amreli and Bhavnagar in Saurashtra; Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli remain included
- The IMD warns of isolated very heavy rainfall events in these regions .
Forecast for the Coming Week (15–20 June 2025)
- Widespread light to moderate showers are expected across all districts of Gujarat, including Kutch, Saurashtra, North and South Gujarat regions, with more persistent rain in southern areas initially, and then spreading northward
- Heavy rain warnings:
- Days 1–2 (14–15 June): Heavy rainfall at isolated locations in North, South Gujarat, Saurashtra, and Kutch
- Day 3 (16 June): Very heavy rain at isolated spots in Navsari, Valsad, Daman, Amreli, Bhavnagar, with heavy rain in Surat, Dang, Tapi, Rajkot, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Diu
- Day 4 (17 June): Very heavy rain expected in Amreli and Bhavnagar, while heavy showers continue in Surat, Dang, Navsari, Valsad, Tapi, Daman, Rajkot, Junagadh, Gir Somnath, Diu
- Additionally, Days 5–7 (18–20 June) will see isolated heavy rain in various southern and Saurashtra districts including Dahod, Chhota Udepur, Narmada, Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath
