Godawn Sahay Yojna 2025: The Gujarat government has launched a godown assistance scheme for farmers’ crop storage. How will the godown be built?
- Under this scheme, the farmer will have to build a godown of at least 330 feet in his land. The farmer can build a godown with more space at his convenience.
- Masonry work will have to be done in the surrounding walls from the plinth to the foundation and concrete PCC work will have to be done on the roof.
- The roof of the godown can be made of galvanized sheet or cement sheet or pipe. The beneficiary can make the RCC roof at his own convenience at his own expense.
- The height of the center of the roof of the godown should be equal to the outside plinth level.
- The godown must have at least one door and one window.
- Construction of less than 300 square feet in total is not eligible for assistance.
Who can get the benefit of the Godown Assistance Scheme?
- All landholders in the state of Gujarat can apply for the scheme.
- Eight accounts will be eligible for assistance only once in a lifetime.
- Out of the eight account holders included in the account, only one account holder will be eligible to get the benefits of this scheme.
Required documents
- Aadhar card of the applicant farmer.
- If there are joint account holders, then the guarantee form of the other.
- Supporting evidence regarding godown construction.
- Copy of eight.
- Certificate if the farmer is disabled.
- If the farmer belongs to the reserved category, then there is no example.
- Bank account passbook.
- Copy of ration card.
How to apply online for Godown Assistance Scheme?
To avail the benefit of this scheme, the applicant will have to apply online, for which you will have to follow the following steps.
- First go to the I Khedut portal https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/ .
- Select the plan option.
- Click on other plans in it.
- Now select the Godown Scheme 25% KPCT Subsidy (Crop Storage Structure Godown Scheme) at the first row.
- The application form will open in which you need to fill in all the information.
- After filling in the information, click on the Save button and click on the Next button to proceed.
- Upload the required documents.
- After the document is uploaded, click on the Confirm button.
- Get a printout of the application.
