How to build a Godawn
- Under this scheme, the farmer will have to build a godown of at least 330 feet area in his land.
- A godown with more space can be built by the farmer as per his convenience.
- Masonry work is to be done in the surrounding wall from plinth to foundation and PCC work is to be done on the roof.
- The roof of the godown can be made of galvanizer seat or cement sheets or sheets.
- Beneficiary can build the RCC roof at his own convenience at his own expense.
- The height of the middle of the roof of the godown should be above the plinth level. Godowns shall have at least one door and one window.
- A total of less than 300 square feet is not eligible for construction assistance.
Who can benefit from Godown Assistance Scheme?
- All land holders of Gujarat state can apply for the scheme.
- Eight A will be eligible for assistance only once in lifetime per account.
- Only one account holder out of the eight A accounts will be eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.

- Guarantee form of other if joint owner.
- Supporting evidence regarding godown construction.
- Eight and a copy.
- Certificate to the effect that
- the farmer is disabled.
- Example of if the farmer belongs to reserved category.
- Bank account passbook.

How to Apply Online for Godown Assistance Scheme?
To avail the benefit of this scheme, the applicant has to apply online, for which you have to follow the following steps.
- First go to I Khedut Portal https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/
- Select the plan option in it.
- Click on Farming Schemes in it.
- Now select Crop Storage Structure Godown Scheme.
- An application form will open in which fill all the information.
- After filling the information click on the save button and proceed by clicking on the next button.
- Upload the required documents.
- After the document is uploaded click on confirm button.
- Get a printout of the application.
