The Common Features

•When you choose a file that can be recovered, a full view of that file is shown, if that’s possible. For picture files, it will show the picture (with the ability to zoom in and out). The process for saving recovered data back to local drives was made easier.
With Android 11, new file rights were added that can be used. As soon as you start DiskDigger and press either the “Basic Photo Scan” or “Full scan” button, it will ask you to allow access to all the files on your device. Then, press the “Go to settings” button and turn on the switch that says “Allow permissions.” After that, you can go back to the settings and the scanning will begin one step at a time.
Quick yet crucial Windows DiskDigger update:
You can now scan NTFS compressed files and keep the compression with this new version. As an aside, recovered PostScript files and Encapsulated PS files are now automatically decompressed before they are opened either. In fact, this new version works with old IBM PC-DOS files that were made before DOS 2.0 or even before that! There’s also a brand-new feature that lets you map disk mounts to drive letters. This way, when you save sessions, they can be correctly restarted whenever you want.
Now it should be easier to get back packed files that were lost on NTFS drives. If a scan finds files that are known to be compressed, they will be immediately changed back to their uncompressed versions.
The way we find different kinds of compressed files is much better now than it was before. They will be automatically expanded when DiskSavvy gets them back, and we show their original sizes when we can.
