Purpose of the scheme
Good tillage is very important to get more production from the field. A cultivator is one such tool, which allows good tillage. The objective of the scheme is to provide assistance to the farmer to purchase cultivators.
Eligibility and Rules for Benefit of Cultivator Assistance Scheme
Certain eligibility criteria for Cultivator Assistance Scheme have been determined. Which is as follows.
- The scheme includes general category farmers, small/marginal categories of general category; Available to women farmers, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe farmers.
- The minimum time limit to reap the benefit of this scheme is 5 years .
- The beneficiary farmer has to purchase from the authorized dealer of the manufacturer included in the panel prepared for the purpose of price discovery announced by the farmer account from time to time.
Benefits available under Cultivator Assistance Scheme
Following are the benefits eligible under this scheme.
Benefits available to common farmers
- Tractor/power tiller (cultivator up to 20 BHP) is eligible for 40% of total cost or Rs.16 thousand whichever is less.
- For tractor driven cultivators (above 20 and up to 35 bhp) 40% of total cost or Rs. 25 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
- For tractor driven cultivators (above 35 bhp) 40% of total cost or Rs. 40 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
Benefits available to general category small/marginal and women farmers
- 50% of total cost for tractor/power tiller (up to 20 BHP) driven cultivator or Rs. 20 thousand whichever is less between the two is eligible.
- For tractor driven cultivators (above 20 and up to 35 bhp) 50% of total cost or Rs. 30 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
- For tractor driven cultivators (above 35 bhp) 50% of total cost or Rs. 50 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
Benefits available to Scheduled Tribe Farmer Beneficiaries
- 50% of total cost for tractor/power tiller (up to 20 BHP) driven cultivator or Rs. 20 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
- For tractor driven cultivators (above 20 and up to 35 bhp) 50% of total cost or Rs. 30 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
- For tractor driven cultivators (above 35 bhp) 50% of total cost or Rs. 50 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
For scheduled caste beneficiary farmers
- 50% of total cost for tractor/power tiller (up to 20 BHP) driven cultivator or Rs. 20 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
- For tractor driven cultivators (above 20 and up to 35 bhp) 50% of total cost or Rs. 30 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
- For tractor driven cultivators (above 35 bhp) 50% of total cost or Rs. 50 thousand whichever is less is eligible.
What documents are required to avail Cultivator Sahay Yojana ?
Online application is required to avail the Cultivator Sahay Yojana running on iKhedut Portal . For which the following farmer beneficiary should have documents.
- Farmer’s 7/12 land copy which you can download from Anyror Gujarat .
- Copy of Aadhar Card
- Caste certificate if farmer beneficiary belongs to SC caste
- Caste certificate if farmer beneficiary belongs to ST caste
- Copy of Ration Card
- If the farmer is disabled, certificate of disability
- Copy of forest rights letter (if any) if beneficiary belongs to tribal area
- Consent form of other cultivator in case of joint tenant in 7-12 and 8-A agricultural land
- Details of soul registration with beneficiary, if any
- Details if member of Co-operative Society (if applicable)
- Information if member of milk producer association (if applicable)
- Mobile number
How To Apply Online Cultivator Sahay Yojana 2024 | How to apply online?
Online application has to be done from khedut portal to avail this scheme. Farmers can apply Ikhedut Online Arji from VCE from their Gram Panchayat. Farmers can fill the form online with any computer operator. And farmers themselves can apply online at home. So let’s get its detailed information.
- First, open Google and type “i farmer”.
- Where to open the official website of I-Khedut https://ikhedut.gujarat.gov.in/ .
- After opening the ikhedut website , click on “ Plan ”.
- After clicking on the scheme, open the “ Khitwadi Ni Yojana ” at number-1.
- It will show total 45 schemes for the year-2024-25 after the opening of the “ Khaltiwadi Ni Yojana ”.
- In which click on sequence number-4 cultivator scheme .
- In which the next page has to be opened by clicking on “ Apply ” in the assistance scheme for cultivators.
- Are you a registered applicant farmer? In which if you have registered then yes and if not you have to do no.
- If the farmer is registered, after entering Aadhaar card number and mobile number, he has to apply by entering Captcha Image.
- If the beneficiary has not registered on the ikhedut portal, he has to apply online by selecting ‘No’.
- After filling the complete information, the farmer has to click on save application.
- The application has to be confirmed after checking the details thoroughly. Note that once the application is confirmed, there will be no correction or increase in the Application Number.
- Farmer beneficiary can get print based on his application after applying online.
