Heavy to very heavy rains have been predicted in the state for two days. Heavy rains are expected in Aravalli, Sabarkantha today. A yellow alert of heavy rains has also been given in Mahisagar district.

Yellow alert has been declared in 7 districts of the state. These include Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Patan, Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Mahisagar and Panchmahal. There is a possibility of rain in these districts today as well. Apart from this, moderate rains can also be seen in Vadodara and Bharuch. With the activation of this system in the coming days, there is a possibility of good rain in many areas of the state, due to which agricultural crops will benefit.
