Monsoon axis will shift to north eastern parts
Meteorologist Ambalal said the axis of monsoon will shift to north-eastern parts. Rains in August will be towards East India, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Assam and South India. He said that there may be rain showers in Gujarat during this time.
Heavy rain may occur in South Gujarat
Ambalal Patel further said that there may be heavy rains in South Gujarat on August 3-4. Water level of Tapi, Narmada will increase. Rivers may also flood. Due to the yoga of Mercury, Venus, the rain conditions in the country may be good. He said that along with Madhya Pradesh, parts of Gujarat may also receive rain.
Ambalal Patel said that from August 13 to 15 there may be heavy rains in Mumbai and Maharashtra. While there may be rain in Gujarat from 16 to 22 August. Ambalal said that there may be rain in South Gujarat, North Central Gujarat.

So in Junagadh, Porbandar, Dwarka, Jamnagar, Diu, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Jamnagar of Saurashtra, heavy to very heavy rain is forecast today with orange alert. Rain with thunder is forecast for all districts of the state today. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea. Rain is forecast in the state due to shear zone and offshore trough.
