Ambalal Patel’s Fresh Forecast
According to Patel’s prediction:
- Saurashtra, North Gujarat, and South Gujarat will continue to receive rainfall in the coming days.
- North Saurashtra and West Saurashtra may witness heavy to very heavy rainfall.
- Junagadh and Amreli districts are also likely to see heavy showers.
- Parts of South Gujarat will continue to get scattered rainfall.
Heavy Rainfall Between August 23 to 26
As the monsoon gradually shifts towards North Gujarat, rainfall intensity in South Gujarat may decrease. However, between August 23 and 26, several parts of North Gujarat are likely to receive heavy to very heavy rains.
The most affected districts could include:
- Sabarkantha
- Banaskantha
- Patan (including Harij region)
- Parts of Kutch
These regions may witness overflowing rivers and streams, along with waterlogging in low-lying areas.
South Gujarat to Receive Rain Again on August 27-28
Patel further predicts that on August 27 and 28, South Gujarat will once again experience heavy rainfall showers. Some areas may even witness torrential downpours. The Ambaji hilly regions could also face flood-like situations due to intense rains.
