Ambalal Patel Shocking Forecast: The monsoon clouds are showing no signs of slowing down in Gujarat. According to the latest prediction by well-known weather expert Ambalal Patel, several parts of the state are likely to experience heavy to very heavy rainfall in the coming days. Saurashtra and South Gujarat are already witnessing torrential rains, leaving many regions waterlogged and dams overflowing.
Heavy Rainfall in Saurashtra and South Gujarat
In Junagadh district, continuous downpours for the last two days have caused the Vanthali Ozat Weir Dam to overflow. Similarly, in Gir-Somnath, heavy rain has led to a strong inflow of water into the Shingoda Dam, while in Valsad district, the Madhuban Dam has already started overflowing. In Tapi district too, the Mindhola Dam has reached full capacity. Authorities have issued alerts for low-lying areas as water levels continue to rise.
Ambalal Patel’s Crucial Forecast
Ambalal Patel mentioned that the next 15 days of rainfall will be like “gold” for farmers, as it will benefit crops immensely. However, he warned that the rains expected between 29th to 31st August may damage crops instead of supporting them. Farmers have been advised to take special precautions during this period.
Patel further stated that though this weather system may not turn into a cyclone, it could still transform into a severe storm, with winds blowing at 70–80 km/h along the coastal belt. Fishermen and coastal communities, especially in South Gujarat and Saurashtra, have been strongly advised not to venture into the sea due to high tides and strong winds.
