How much amount is eligible to be awarded in LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2024?
- For Medical Studies: Rs. 40,000 per year (in 2 installments per year).
- For Engineering studies: Rs. 30,000 per year.
- For general graduate studies: Rs. 20,000 per year.
- Special scheme for girls: Rs. 15,000 per year.
General Scholarship:
- Under this scheme, students who have secured 60% or more marks in class 12 or its equivalent examination, who have taken admission in the first year of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation, Diploma or Vocational courses in 2024-25, can become applicants for this scholarship.
- After Standard 10: At least 60% marks in Standard 10.
- Students admitted in the first year of a government college/ITI/Diploma.
- The annual income of the parents should be less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs.
Special Scholarship for Girl Child:
- This special scholarship is for girls who have passed standard 10 with 60% or more marks and have taken admission for Vocational/Diploma courses in 2024-25. This scholarship is given for 2 years.
