Main objective of the scheme.
The aim is to provide material assistance to those living in forested hilly areas in the state and those living above any other place and those engaged in animal-driven agriculture. Small marginal and women farmers are provided with animal-driven sowing if they are doing animal-based sowing. An estimated 40 to 50 percent assistance is given in this scheme.
Eligibility to avail the benefit of the scheme.
- Applicant farmers should be small, marginal or women farmers.
- Farmer applicant should belong to economically weaker, OBC, SC, ST castes.
- Farmers should have land record or certificate from tribal land or forest officer.
- Details if member of cooperative society.
- Details if the milk producer is a member of a co-operative society.
Conditions for obtaining Pashu Sanchalit Vavaniyo Sahay

- Only small, marginal and women farmers will be eligible to benefit from this scheme.
- The beneficiary farmer has to purchase the seeds from the authorized dealer of the producer included in the panel by the department.

Self-reliant small marginal farmers and women farmers of the state are benefited in this scheme.
In this scheme 40 and 50% of the estimated expenditure or Rs 8,000 and Rs 10,000 whichever is less will be available to the beneficiary.
