Ambalal Patel’s Latest Cyclone Prediction
Meteorologist Ambalal Patel has predicted that a low-pressure system forming over the Bay of Bengal could strengthen into a severe cyclone by October 28–29, with wind speeds reaching 100–150 km/h. This system is expected to take shape around October 23–24, bringing heavy rain over the Bay of Bengal region. Patel also indicated that a separate low-pressure system could form over the Arabian Sea around October 19, potentially intensifying into a severe cyclone as it moves northwest. The system may influence parts of South India, Rajasthan, and Pakistan, with its exact path yet to be determined.

A strong western disturbance is also expected to affect northern hill regions of India by the end of the month.

Impact on Gujarat’s Weather
The combined effects of the Bay of Bengal cyclone and the Arabian Sea system are likely to alter Gujarat’s weather pattern significantly. Even after November 7, heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in southern India, which could influence certain regions of Gujarat as well.

As a result, Gujarat may witness a noticeable seasonal shift by November, with winter-like and monsoon-like weather conditions overlapping due to continued cyclonic activity in the Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea.
